Five Ban Sergeants and 20 Ban-Gfaardaí are at present serving in the force. They are stationed in the Dublin Metropolitan Area, Cork and Limerick cities and the Garda Training Centre, Templemore.
There is one vacancy.
Apart from filling vacancies as they arise, I do not propose to recruit additional numbers at present.
