Vol. 252 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Central Mental Hospital Patients.

4.

asked the Minister for Health the number of persons (a) whose cases have been reviewed and (b) who have been discharged from the Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum, Dublin, following the establishment of the new medical review body.

As I indicated in my reply to the Deputy's question on this matter last Thursday, the special review embraces all the patients at the Central Mental Hospital. It has since been decided to transfer three patients back to their appropriate district mental hospitals. It is hoped to take decisions in other cases at an early date.
