The armoured car Slievenamon is at present kept in cavalry workshops in the Curragh training camp. While it is in good mechanical condition, certain expenditure would be necessary on brakes, traffic indicators and tyres if it were to be used in military parades, etc. It is not proposed to incur such expenditure.
