(Cavan) asked the Minister for Social Welfare if a widow, with a qualified child, in receipt of a non-contributory widow's pension ceases to be entitled to that pension when her child reaches the age of 18 and if she is still under 50 years of age; and, if so, if he will amend the relevant regulations.
