Vol. 255 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

81.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, if, in view of the fact that Offaly County Council have agreed to subsidise the cost of erecting and maintaining a public telephone kiosk at Roscomroe, he will sanction its erection.

The erection of a telephone kiosk at Roscomroe will be sanctioned when the necessary formalities in connection with the guarantee arrangements and the siting of the kiosk have been completed with the Offaly County Council.

82.

asked the Minister fro Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the need for a public telephone kiosk in Hollyford, County Tipperary; and if one will be installed immediately.

Provision of a kiosk at Hollyford is not considered warranted at present but one will probably be provided there under the five year programme for extension of kiosk facilities in rural areas.

83.

asked the Minister fro Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware of the local demand and need for (a) a telephone kiosk and (b) a letter box at McKelvey Park, Finglas, Dublin; and what action he proposes to take in the matter.

The provision of a telephone kiosk and a letter box at McKelvey Park, Finglas, is not considered to be warranted.
