The arrangements designed to alleviate hardship arising out of separation from family on the occasion of transfer of station, are broadly the same for married soldiers as for married officers, and the same conditions apply. The provision of free rations and accommodation would be part of these arrangements for such married soldiers if living in barracks and the question of recoupment of cost should not accordingly arise.
