I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that they have now prepared sketch plans for the new central school at Glengariff. When these together with an estimate of the cost have been received in my Department the question of the local contribution will be discussed with the manager of the school. It is not possible at this stage to say when work on the erection of the school will commence.
