I understand that grants under the Housing Acts were not sought in respect of the dwellings in question and the rates remission appropriate to grant type houses does not therefore apply. I am also informed that the dwellings do not come within the scope of the Local Government (Temporary Reduction of Valuation) Act because of the date on which planning permission was first sought.
