Progress reports, submitted to my Department by Kilkenny Corporation and Kilkenny County Council, show that, in the period from 28th February, 1973, to 30th September, 1973, three new local authority housing schemes, comprising a total of 150 houses, were brought by them to the planning stage.
I might add that the fact that I sanctioned a sewerage scheme opens up the prospects of having very many more houses built in Kilkenny because sewerage facilities will be available.
