Thirty five farmers in County Monaghan availed themselves of the Fertiliser Credit Scheme in 1972-73.
Could the Minister make farmers more aware of the favourable terms of that scheme? The number seems very small.
It is twice the number availing of it in 1972. I agree that it is a small number.
It is my belief that if it were more widely known more farmers would avail of it to their advantage.
This is one of the schemes that must be phased out when the new EEC schemes come in. I do not think at this stage it is worth publishing because of this fact.
