Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Departmental Appointments.
Two such appointments were made in my Department since 15th March, 1973—one of these was my personal secretary, the second a supervisor of cleaners who was recruited on the retirement of her predecessor. I am arranging to have circulated for inclusion in the Dáil records a statement giving, in respect of these two appointments, the information requested by the Deputy.
In addition to the foregoing two appointments my Department also employed 22 female temporary clerical assistants for seasonal work in the Passport Office and two temporary cleaners for holiday relief work. These seasonal appointments occur annually.
