asked the Minister for Health if, in respect of the County Hospital, Tullamore, County Offaly, he will approve the following capital works: (a) the provision of X-ray equipment (b) the replacement of ground floor patient accommodation (c) the provision of a new children's unit (d) the provision of a new accident department and (e) the provision of additional operating theatres with ancillary rooms.

My Department approved of the provision of X-ray equipment for the County Hospital, Tullamore last May. Proposals have not been received in my Department from the health board in respect of the other schemes mentioned.
