My Department will allocate and pay the grant of £100 for each of the two houses in the Rossacon group water supply scheme as soon as the relevant grant application is endorsed by Cork County Council.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will arrange to have grants paid immediately to organisers of the Dooneen group water scheme, Millstreet, County Cork.
Although grants in respect of this scheme were allocated by my Department on 13th June, 1972, I understand that work has not yet commenced. In the circumstances the payment of grants does not arise. I am informed however that the group recently ordered the required materials and it is hoped that work on the scheme will commence very soon.
