I assume that the Deputy is referring to Cora Point, Inishmaan.
A report with estimate of cost was made to Roinn na Gaeltachta in March, 1971, on proposals for extension of the pier and improvement of the causeway leading thereto.
In June, 1972, Roinn na Gaeltachta asked the Office of Public Works to investigate a new scheme for a longer extension of the pier, removal of rocks and extension of the slip.
It is hoped to do this within the next few months but I cannot say when work may be commenced.
