The provision of a new vocational school in Castlebar is under consideration in the context of a combined development between the Convent of Mercy secondary school and the vocational school and the two schools authorities concerned have agreed in principle to this form of development. Further discussions in relation to the detailed formulation of the scheme will take place as soon as feasible.
