The total cost to the Exchequer, including all allowances and so on, of all journeys outside the State made by me and by officials of my Department in the year ended 31st December, 1974, was £24,358.46. Of this amount, £4,669.47 was expended by me on visits paid by me in the course of my duties from January to December.
