As I indicated on 12th December in reply to a previous question on this matter, consideration is being given to the measures that may be necessary to give effect to the directive on waste oil disposal. The directive, incidentally, is not yet operational. As I also indicated previously, legislation to make better provision for the control of water pollution is being prepared.
