asked the Minister for Education if he will consider providing per capita grants for pupils attending primary and post-primary schools within a radius of ten miles of towns such as Mallow, Fermoy and Mitchelstown, County Cork, where fully equipped swimming pool facilities exist, such grants to be paid to the local authority or other managements of the swimming pools in respect of pupils enrolling as users of the pools during the relevant year.
