Four cheques in payment of maternity benefit were issued to the address given by the person referred to by the Deputy on her claim. The claimant, who had however changed her address, reported to the Department that she did not receive these cheques and they have now been replaced by the issue of a payment for the value of the original cheques.
I should like to ask the Minister when this repayment was issued.
I suppose it was the usual thing, as soon as the question was put down payment was issued. I presume the Deputy put down the question five or six days ago when his constituent said she had not received it but she must have received it in the meantime.
