The amount of contributions appropriate to the scheme of pay-related benefits collected in the period from its inception on the 1st April, 1974,to the 31st December, 1974, was £8,850,942. The amount paid in benefit in the same period was £2,516,056.
The amount of pay-related contributions collected in the period from the 1st January, 1975, to the 30th April, 1975, is estimated at £4,482,000. The amount paid in benefit in the same period was £2,305,423.
