Vol. 285 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Cork Electricity Supply.

271.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is aware that a person in County Cork (name supplied) has paid for electric current for some time and still has not got it; and if he will indicate when it will be provided.

I am informed by the ESB that the person concerned submitted an application for supply to his premises, in December, 1973. Early in 1974, an appointment was made with him to discuss his application but he did not keep the appointment and has not contacted the board in the meantime. Consequently he has not been quoted terms for supply nor has any payment been received from him.

I would suggest that the person concerned should contact the ESB group engineer, Patrick Street, Cork, who will then arrange to have a quotation for supply issued to him.
