Certain difficulties have arisen in relation to the leasing of the proposed site for the new school at Rathmullan, Drogheda. My Department and the Chief State Solicitor's Office are in close consultation in the matter with the interested local parties. I hope that it will be possible to overcome the difficulties soon and to proceed with the provision of the new school.
Would the Minister not agree that the position he has outlined has obtained for some time and that the situation in relation to this school is very unsatisfactory? Can he assure us that he will do his utmost to ensure that the whole matter is speeded up?
I can agree to the three points in the Deputy's supplementary.
