Vol. 286 No. 7

Written Answers. - Telephone Service.

304.

Mr. Kitt

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide a second telephone kiosk for Ahascragh village, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

The use made of the existing kiosk in Ahascragh is not sufficient to justify provision of an additional kiosk there.

305.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a telephone provided for a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

It is hoped to provide telephone service for the person referred to during the 1st quarter of 1976.

306.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have telephones provided for applicants from Tureen, Knocknagree, Mallow, County Cork, some of whom applied up to two years ago.

It is hoped to provide telephone service for a number of the applicants in the area, including all those who applied in 1973, early in 1976.

It will not be possible for the present because of arrears of construction work in the engineering district concerned, to meet non-priority orders requiring abnormal linework received in 1974 and 1975.

307.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his Department will provide a second telephone kiosk in Main Street, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim.

The use made of the existing kiosk in Manorhamilton is not sufficient to justify provision of an additional kiosk there at present.
