At present, Irish Shipping Limited own seven vessels. In addition, the company have a 50 per cent share in the Rosslare/Le Havre car ferry m.v. St. Patrick. They have two vessels on order.
The B & I Company own six vessels. The company have submitted a proposal to me for the acquisition of an additional car-ferry vessel. Neither company has any plans to acquire oil tankers.
