, Cavan): I would refer the Deputy to the details of land acquisitions in County Dublin since March, 1970, which I gave in reply to his Question No. 75 of 25th May, 1976. None of these properties was situated in the district electoral divisions of Balbriggan or Balscaddan.

, Cavan): With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 89 and 90 together. As stated in my reply to Question No. 74 on 25th May, 1976, dwellinghouses were provided by the Land Commission on four new holdings allotted by them on the Kennedy estate at the Ward, County Dublin, in the past ten years. Particulars of the Kennedy estate are as follows:
Townlands: Kilcoskan, Coolatrath East, Coolquoy Common. Area: 279a. Or. 24p Rateable Valuation £296, Land, £23, Buildings. Date of acquisition: 11th March, 1963.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of lands acquired and allocated by the Land Commission in County Dublin (a) the total area acquired, (b) the particulars of lands allocated to the three local authorities in the Dublin area in the form of a reply of 25th May, 1976, and (c) if it is the practice of the Land Commission to inquire if the local authorities wish to be considered for an allocation before land is allocated to smallholders.
, Cavan): In the period 1st April, 1973, to date 89 acres were acquired by the Land Commission in County Dublin. No allotments were made to the local authorities mentioned in that period. As a general rule the Land Commission do not inquire whether a local authority wish to be considered for an allotment but in any case where it is evident that the authority have an interest in particular lands they would of course be consulted.
