An on-going investigation into this herd was recently finalised. It has now been decided to pay grants in respect of 1975 and 1976. The 1977 claim is also being processed at the moment. Deductions will be made from the amount of grant payable for 1975 in respect of animals concerned in a breach of the animal health regulations and subsequently presented for inspection under the cattle headage scheme.
