Unemployment assistance is not payable to the person concerned as it has been held by an appeals officer of my Department that his means exceed the statutory limit applicable in his case. Following representations by the Deputy, the applicant's means are being reinvestigated. When the necessary inquiries are completed, the question of entitlement to unemployment assistance will be reconsidered.
