Article 22 of the Road Traffic (Construction, Equipment and use of Vehicles) Regulations, 1963, provides specific requirements regarding devices to catch mud or water thrown up by the wheels of vehicles and trailers with some special exceptions. I have no proposals for amendment of these requirements.
