A boring survey of Schull Harbour was carried out by the Office of Public Works and completed in December 1976. My Department are awaiting the report on this survey. In accordance with established practice this report will not be made public. Until the report on the survey has been received and examined in my Department I cannot say what improvements, if any, will be carried out at Schull or when they will be carried out.
