I have received representations that the Christian Brothers' Secondary School, Beamore Road, Drogheda, requires to be replaced. The building—a semi-permanent structure—was erected in 1968 with the aid of a substantial State grant.
I have arranged for a senior architect of my Department to inspect the premises with a view to ascertaining the reasons for the apparent premature deterioration of the school structure and to recommending what action is necessary to provide satisfactory school accommodation.
