There is no intention of raising the amount of the local contribution already agreed in the case of the original group of community schools. The position in the case of future schools is under consideration at present and an announcement will be made in due course.

No change is intended in this matter from the terms of the draft deed of trust in the case of the original group of schools. The position in the case of future schools will be a matter for negotiation in each case.

asked the Minister for Education if he will make a comprehensive statement on the proposed deed of trust for community schools; and if he will indicate the main clauses in the deed.
