: The IDA do not set job approval targets at a regional level. The authority have set a job creation target of 4,300 new jobs in grant-aided industry in the mid-west region in the four year period of their industrial plan 1977-80. It is the IDA's objective to approve sufficient jobs to enable the job creation target in the plan to be achieved.
