: The present review of disadvantaged areas schemes commenced in September 1977. Particular consideration is being given to:—
"(a) Extension of the boundaries of the disadvantaged areas.
(b) The revision of the boundaries of more severely handicapped areas.
(c) The use of DED boundaries as a means of delineating disadvantaged areas."
It is expected that the review will be completed by September and a submission made to Brussels shortly afterwards.
