A comprehensive review of the low-rise mortgage scheme and the results so far of its operation is being carried out by my Department with a view to ascertaining its effectiveness and what changes, if any, are necessary or desirable. Pending the completion of this review, I am not in a position to indicate what changes, if any, may be recommended.
