As indicated in the recent White Paper Programme for National Development 1978-1981, the Government intend to continue the Employment Incentive Scheme under which premiums are paid to employers in respect of additional jobs filled by eligible employees including school leavers. The precise coverage of the scheme as it will be continued is not yet settled.
