The ESB published their annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 1978 on 19 September 1978. The balance shown on the electricity trading account before amortisation of borrowings was £23,013,000. The net surplus was £4,073,000.
Bord na Móna are publishing their annual report for the year to 31 March 1978 today. Trading profit before charging interest on loan capital was £1,831,227. The net surplus was £531,387.
