asked the Minister for the Environment in respect of each of the following bodies, the amount of money allocated for 1979, and the number of staff employed by them: Foras Forbartha, Comhairle Leabharlanna, National Road Safety Association, Fire Prevention Council, Bord Pleanála, the Medical Bureau of Road Safety and the Water Pollution Council.

The amount of money to be allocated for 1979 and the number of staff employed in respect of the various bodies is as follows:

Notes:

1. In the case of an Bord Pleanála, as an interim measure, pursuant to Section 21 (3) of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1976, staff are at present supplied to the Board by my Department.

2. In the case of the Medical Bureau of Road Safety, with the exception of the Director, the staff are provided by University College Dublin on a repayment basis.
