The Leopardstown Park Hospital Board (Establishment) Order, 1979, which I made under the Health (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1961, by arrangement with the trustees of the hospital, sets out the arrangements for the future administration of this hospital. The order came into effect on 1 April 1979 and provides for the administration of the hospital by a board comprising nine members appointed by the Minister for Health, including two on the nomination of the British Secretary of State for Social Services.
