Returns to Writs: North-East Cork and Cork City. - Introduction of New Members.

The Clerk of the Dáil made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Bhuan-Ordú 137 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann I dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh go ndearnadh, sna Corrthoghcháin a bhi ann an 7 Samhain, 1979, de chionn an Teachta Seán Ó Brosnacháin agus an Teachta Pádraig Ó Ciaragáin d'fháil bháis, na comhaltaí seo a leanas a thoghadh don Dáil:—
In compliance with Standing Order 137 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that at the By-Elections held on 7 November 1979, consequent on the deaths of Deputy Seán Brosnan and Deputy Pat Kerrigan, the following members have been elected to the Dáil:
Dáilcheantar Chorcaí Thoir Thuaidh—Constituency of North-East Cork—Myra Barry.
Dáilcheantar Chathair Chorcaí—Constituency of Cork City—Liam Burke.
Deputy Myra Barry, the new Member for the Constituency of North-East Cork, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy L'Estrange.
Deputy Liam Burke, the new Member for the constituency of Cork City, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy M. Cosgrave.
