County Meath Vocational Education Committee at its meeting of 27 July 1979 proposed two increases in wages for its caretaking and cleaning staff. The first increase was to be retrospective to 1 March 1978 and the second was to take effect from 1 October 1979. The two elements of the proposal have been sanctioned by my Department.
County Westmeath Vocational Educational Committee proposed at a meeting on 23 July 1979 an increase in wages for its caretaking, attendant and cleaning staff retrospective to 1 March 1978. This proposal has been sanctioned by my Department.
