Vol. 318 No. 7

Written Answers. - County Galway National School.

44.

asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in erecting a boundary wall and installing a water pump at Ballinlass national school, Dunmore, County Galway.

The application from the board of management for repairs to the boundary wall was examined by the Office of Public Works and a recommendation was made that the wall should be replaced entirely by a new concrete wall. My Department accepted this recommendation and have approved a grant towards the cost.

An application for a grant for the replacement of a water pump was received on 8 February 1980 and the Reverend Chairman of the board of management has been advised that he may proceed with the work in accordance with the terms of my Department's circular 18/77.
