In April 1980 the council informed the Department that they accepted the design for the scheme and approval issued to the group for the scheme. An application for a special contribution towards the cost of the headworks of the scheme is at present under examination and a decision will be reached in the matter shortly. I am not at present in a position to indicate when the scheme will get under way.
