Written Answers. - Abbeylands (Navan) New National School.

375.

asked the Minister for Education when the examination of the tenders for the new National School at Abbeylands, Navan commenced; the number of tenders being examined; the usual length of time required for the ex-amination of such tenders and when he expects there will be a decision on the matter to enable work to commence.

Five tenders were submitted by the architect to the Commissioners of Public Works on 15 January 1980 for the proposed new national school at Abbeylands, Navan, County Meath.

The tenders have since been examined by the Commissioners in consultation with my Department in accordance with normal procedures and the project is being allowed to proceed to contract.
