The Beef Management Committee have over the past few months reviewed the level of export refunds for live cattle and for beef. This review resulted in significant increases being made in the refunds for beef, particularly for chilled and frozen carcases and for chilled boneless cuts. The refund on live cattle was also increased. In addition, the list of countries to which refunds apply was extended.
