Building work has not yet been completed on this new complex for the mentally handicapped. The Irish Sisters of Charity have sought funds from my Department to enable a phased intake of residents to commence later on this year and discussions are taking place with the order to determine the precise amount of funds which will be required to enable a service to commence.
