Galway County Council's revised preliminary proposals for the Gort sewerage scheme and the preparation of contract documents for Stage I of the scheme have been approved. The further planning of the scheme is a matter for the local authority. The question of the provision of finance does not arise until a scheme is fully planned and approved.

Preliminary proposals for the Gort water supply improvement scheme have been approved in principle and approval to the preparation of contract documents has been given for stage I of the scheme. The preparation of contract documents is a matter for the local authority.
