The provisions by Athlone Urban District Council of fireplaces in the houses at Battery Heights, Athlone, will be dealt with in the context of the Housing Package for 1981 which I recently announced. A circular letter giving detailed particulars of all aspects of the package, including the financing of the provision of fireplaces in local authority rented houses, will be issued to housing authorities within the next few days.
