AnCO are currently involved in the renovation of the old hall at Garuagh, County Leitrim, to convert it into a community and recreational centre under its Community Youth Training Programme (CYTP). As on all CYTP projects, AnCO do not provide grants towards the cost of the project other than to make a contribution towards the costs of employing a supervisor/foreman to oversee the project. However AnCO trainees carry out work on the project as part of their training programme. AnCO expect to have eight trainees involved in this project and each of them will receive the appropriate weekly training allowance for as long as they are in training.
