The Land Commission have received no application from the person referred to for consent to the subdivision of his holding. It is understood, however, that an application has been lodged in the Land Registry for registration of a transaction involving the transfer of a small area of the holding. In this connection it is not now necessary, save in certain limited circumstances, for landowners to apply to the Land Commission for consent to subdivision where the severed plot does not exceed one hectare in size.
