The present position in the planning process of this school is that working drawings are under examination in my Department. When this examination has been satisfactorily completed, the vocational education committee will be requested to prepare the bill of quantities. The question of giving sanction for the invitation of tenders arises only after examination of the bill of quantities has been completed and the bill has been accepted by my Department as satisfactory. I am not, therefore, yet in a position to indicate precisely when such sanction may be given but I can assure the Deputy the matter will be dealt with without any avoidable delay as far as my Department are concerned.
